The Pedestrian

Laughters, warmth, communication
Replaced by robotic machines
Cold lights shine upon him
On the streets, desolated, deadly quiet
Concrete road beneath his feet
Resonates no footsteps, his ghostly steps
Oh, the loney pedestrian
Strolling forlorn, talking to air
Until the mechanic, driver-less police car
Came by and swept him away
Oh, the lonely pedestrian
Never had a chance to speak
What do you think will happen
After his social defeat?
Psychiatric Center? Or something else?
It's something we will never know
For the car melted into the dark
